Post-Arrival

  1. The day you arrive and the day following your arrival have been designated as your days off. It’s the perfect opportunity to conquer any lingering jet lag, explore local grocery stores, and ease yourself into the climate of the new environment.
  2. It is highly likely that your department will contact you very soon after your arrival. However, if you do not receive any communication, rest assured that all the essential contact numbers and schedules for the upcoming days will be conveniently provided within the comprehensive joining guide that will be handed to you upon landing at the airport.
  3. For those joining as Engineers, obtaining your SCE membership promptly is crucial to fasttrack your Iqama process. Don’t hesitate to kickstart the membership application process on your very first day by utilizing the necessary documentation provided.

  5. On next Tuesday, you will be required to attend medical in Dhahran. Once our SCE is approved (if eligible) and your medical is done, it usually takes 3 to 5 days to get Iqama issued.
    • You can check your Iqama status using your passport or border number with the link given below.

    • The easiest option is to check the Iqama status from the MySecurity App. Click on My ID and you will see your Iqama number on your Digital ID card as soon as it gets issued by the government.

Furthermore, some banks facilitate self-service card printing through their kiosks, making the process even more convenient. SAIB bank is recommended for remittances to Asian countries due to favourable exchange rates they offer.
  14. To ensure your salary is correctly deposited, it is advisable to register your bank account details in the MyHome system.
  15. For potential allowances related to personal effects shipment, it is recommended to apply as per the guidelines outlined in the Onboarding guide for a smooth process.
  16. To fully experience convenience and access essential applications, getting your Iqama details registered via the MyCommunity App is essential. By contacting facilities for this purpose, you can seamlessly access additional services like the SA offer app.
    • To initiate the registration process, simply dial 939 from your Aramco landline or 0138720939 from your mobile device.
    • Choose the language preference by selecting English.
    • Opt for the MyCommunity app helpline for further assistance.
    • Have your ID number ready to provide to the agent.
    • The agent will proceed to register your Iqama since their system isn’t directly linked to the main database.

    • Kindly note that the registration process may take a couple of days to be finalized.

  17. Contact JHAH on (800) 305-4444 to register your Iqama in their database and register in MyChart App / JHAH web portal (MyChart – Login Page (jhah.com)). This will be handy to book future appointments.
