Visa Guidelines for Indian Nationals in Saudi Arabia

1. Visit Visa

A short-term visa intended for :
  • Family visits.
  • Tourism (in some cases).
    1. Validity: 30, 60, or 90 days, extendable in some cases.
    2. Requirements:
  • Valid passport (recommended 6-month validity).
  • A copy of the invitation letter from a Saudi resident (for family visits).
  • Proof of relationship (for dependent visit visas).
  • Return flight ticket and hotel booking (for tourist visas).

2. Work Visa

For individuals with confirmed job offers from Saudi companies.

Process :

  • Employer applies for a work visa and sends the approval to the applicant.
  • The applicant undergoes a medical examination at an authorized center.
  • After medical clearance, the visa is stamped at the Saudi consulate.
  • Upon arrival, the employer applies for an Iqama (resident permit) within 90 days.

3. Family Visa (Dependent Visa)

This visa allows expats to bring their family members (spouse, children) to live with them in Saudi Arabia.

Requirements :

  • Sponsor’s valid Iqama.
  • Marriage certificate (attested).
  • Children’s birth certificates (attested).
  • Medical insurance for each dependent.

4. Business Visa

Issued for official purposes like :

    • Attending meetings or conferences.
    • Exploring business opportunities.
    • Requirements :
      1. An invitation letter from a Saudi company.
      2. Valid passport with at least 6 months of validity.
      3. Hotel booking and return ticket.
